Green City 2 is a city management simulation game. As you can see in its name, this game comes with a specific theme: it focuses on ecology, green energy, protecting the environment, and learning about еру ecological urban lifestyle. This means that maintaining a balance between the city’s development and its ecological impact is a must at all times.
It doesn’t attempt to provide a realistic simulation of city management operations, so if you’re looking for accuracy, Green City 2 is not exactly suitable for you. Anyway, this doesn’t mean it also lacks complexity. It’s quite comprehensive, especially in terms of levels (54 levels are provided), and types of buildings that you can construct and upgrade during the gameplay. Even though it often feels more like a time management game, it’s complex enough to keep you busy for many hours without getting tedious and boring.
It also comes with a very effective tutorial that does a great job at explaining how the game should be played. Even though the game can get quite complex, it's easy to understand how to play.
The graphics are not very sophisticated, and advanced options like zooming to the ground level are lacking. Still, the visuals are colorful enough to make Green City look quite appealing.
To sum it all up, though games based on the classic time management aspects are not exactly my kind, Green City 2 seems nice enough to get my recommendation, as I'm sure it can please many players, especially if they’re interested in ecological urbanism.
